Heritage Youth Partnership
We are delighted to confirm a further two years of funding from Historic England, after successful scoping and piloting years.
With this funding, we can continue connecting uniformed youth organisations with heritage organisations, strengthening young people's sense of belonging and well-being through local heritage.
We will support uniformed youth organisations to:
- deliver parts of their programme through heritage,
- develop training that meets the needs of volunteer leaders,
- enable more local heritage social action projects with microgrants.
We will support heritage and other youth organisations to:
- engage more uniformed youth in their heritage,
- develop local, regional and national partnership projects,
- connect and share practice with other organisations.
We will continue to broker and nurture partnerships and diversify funding streams to extend the legacy of this work.
