NEW HERITAGE YOUTH PARNERSHIP HUB!

We’re excited to announce the launch of our new and improved Hub - your one-stop destination for everything related to the HYP. Whether you’re a young leader or a heritage organisation looking for resources, updates, and collaborations, the Hub has you covered. We also have some exciting new add-ons to launch in the coming months...

MICROGRANTS ARE BACK!

We're thrilled to announce that once again, our network can apply for microgrants to bring youth-led heritage projects to life! Last year, the YUF Heritage Youth Partnership united 40 groups, units, and heritage organisations across England to explore what heritage means to young people and its role in the future.

Together, we engaged over 850 young people, funded seven youth-led heritage projects through microgrants, sparked powerful conversations about identity, place, and belonging, and built new partnerships between the youth and heritage sectors.

INSPIRATION

We’re proud of the incredible projects achieved by our network, young people, and heritage organisations. Here are a couple of case studies from last year to offer both inspiration and insight.

WHAT’S NEXT

During the summer, we have convened a passionate and inspiring group of young people to form our Youth Voice Ambassadors. Stay tuned for more information about this in September.

ONGOING PROJECT

Air Cadets from Northumberland and Durham are uncovering the hidden history of aircraft crash sites in the Cheviot Hills. Through visits, research, and personal stories, including a medal-winning rescue dog, they’re bringing history to life. The cadets are creating a leaflet with walking routes to engage young people, culminating in a celebration event this November.
